For every tier, EA requires DirectX 12, the latest update of Windows and a broadband Internet connection. In the French version of the EA page, the processor row is labelled "IA": it is indeed the processor ("CPU" in the English version).

Suggested solution
Processor, RAM and Windows version
- Right-click Start, choose Settings, then System and About.
- Under Device specifications, note the processor, the installed RAM and the system type (64-bit required).
- Under Windows specifications, note the Windows edition and version.
Expected result: you can compare processor, RAM and Windows with the matching rows of the tables.
Suggested solution
Graphics card, video memory and DirectX
- In the search box on the taskbar, type dxdiag, then open dxdiag from the results. If the tool asks whether to check that your drivers are digitally signed, Microsoft recommends selecting Yes.
- On the System tab, read the DirectX version under System Information.
- On the Display tab (there can be two on a laptop with two graphics chips), note the graphics card name and its memory.
Expected result: you know your graphics card and your DirectX version. On a laptop, compare the dedicated card (NVIDIA or AMD) with the tables, not the integrated graphics chip.
Suggested solution
Disk space and drive type
- In Settings, System, open Storage to see the free space. With several drives, use Advanced storage settings, then Storage used on other drives.
- Keep at least 100 GB free on the install drive.
- To find out whether this drive is an SSD or an HDD, open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc), Performance tab: the type is shown under each disk.
Expected result: the game can be installed on a drive with 100 GB free, ideally an SSD.

The tier you actually reach depends on your weakest component: a High-tier graphics card doesn't make up for Minimum-tier RAM.
Windows 10 is still listed in EA's minimum and recommended requirements, but Microsoft states that support for Windows 10 ended on October 14, 2025.
Platforms and modes
- FC 27 is available on PC through the EA app, Steam and Epic Games, as well as on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
- Modes listed by EA: Career Mode, The Grounds, Football Ultimate Team, Kick-Off, Seasons and Online Friendlies.
- The Grounds is only available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch 2.
