You pre-ordered EA SPORTS FC 27, but some pre-order bonuses are missing in the game: the ICON, the 5-star Career coach, The Grounds sweatsuit and so on. In most cases nothing is lost. EA only grants each bonus once a specific condition is met: logging into the right mode, on the right platform, with the right account. This guide goes through those conditions mode by mode.
Problem
- Pre-order items are not in your Ultimate Team club.
- The pre-order coach, scout or ICONs/Heroes cannot be found in Career Mode.
- The sweatsuit, the amp or the 2× AXP consumables are missing in The Grounds.
- The reward meant for EA SPORTS FC 26 never arrived.
What to know first
- Content depends on the edition (Standard, Ultimate or Ultimate Plus) and on the pre-order date. Some items were only offered for pre-orders placed by August 31, 2026. The official list for each edition is in EA's pre-order help article (see Sources).
- Unlocking is not automatic. According to the terms on EA's buy page, you must redeem the single-use code (if applicable), log into Ultimate Team, log into The Grounds and create a Career Mode save while connected to EA servers.
- Content is limited to one EA account and is non-transferable.
- Platform exceptions: Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and physical pre-orders do not include the FC 26 content. The Grounds content is not available on PS4, Xbox One or Nintendo Switch.

Step 1: check the account and platform
When to use it: always, before anything else.
Suggested solution
- Note the platform and store used for the pre-order (PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Steam, EA app, Epic, physical retailer).
- In the game, check which EA account is signed in. It must be linked to the platform account used to pre-order.
- If you have several platform accounts (several PSN, Xbox or Steam profiles), restart the game with the one used for the purchase.
- Check the EA server status page to rule out an ongoing outage.
Expected result: you are playing on the account that owns the pre-order and EA services are available.
Step 2: unlock each mode separately
When to use it: some bonuses arrived, others did not.
Suggested solution
- Ultimate Team: open the mode, then check unassigned items and the store for unopened packs.
- The Grounds: launch the mode at least once, then check your player's inventory for the outfit and the amp.
- Career: create a new Manager Career save while staying connected to EA servers. The pre-order coach, scouts and ICONs/Heroes are offered in that save.
- If you had a single-use code (retailer purchase or physical edition), redeem it before repeating these steps.
Expected result: each mode shows its own bonuses after logging in.
Step 3: get the FC 26 reward
When to use it: only the content meant for EA SPORTS FC 26 is missing.
Suggested solution
- Check that your pre-order included it. Switch, Switch 2 and physical versions do not include FC 26 content.
- According to EA Help, wait at least 24 hours after pre-ordering.
- Launch EA SPORTS FC 26 on the same platform, with the same EA account, and enter Ultimate Team.
- For items with a deadline (by August 31, 2026 for some), check the actual order date in the store's purchase history.
Expected result: the FC 26 item appears in FC 26 unassigned items.
Special cases

- Switching platform after pre-ordering: the content stays tied to the original account and platform. It is not transferable.
- Deadline: unless stated otherwise, the content is no longer available if the code is redeemed after September 25, 2027.
When to contact EA
If all conditions are met and an item is still missing after 24 hours, use EA's missing content help tool. Have the platform, store, edition and order date ready. Never share your password.
Final check
- ☐ The EA account signed in is the one used for the pre-order.
- ☐ Ultimate Team and The Grounds have been launched at least once.
- ☐ A Career save has been created online.
- ☐ The FC 26 reward was looked for in FC 26, on the same platform.
