Fortnite Drill for Eggs: Meteor Storm schedule, golden meteors, and 12 new pets
Epic’s Communities post (Laukyto., Developer / Community Team) announces Meteor Storm in the Fortnite Creative experience Drill for Eggs: every 4 hours for 30 minutes (UTC schedule), Storm/Void eggs with a 4-minute grab window, one GOLDEN meteor per storm, 12 new pets from Rare to Eternal, and a Giant Meteor finale.
Epic’s Fortnite Communities post ☄️ NEW EVENT: METEOR STORM, posted by Laukyto. (Developer / Community Team) in GAKO World via DRILL FOR EGGS, announces a timed Meteor Storm event inside the Fortnite Creative experience Drill for Eggs.
This brief covers only what that Communities thread documents. It is not a Fortnite Battle Royale season update, not Treasure Hunters / One Piece coverage, and not a Fortnite Crew subscription article. No hands-on playtest is claimed. Facts follow the Epic Communities post opened on 6 November 2026 (Europe/Paris).
What Meteor Storm is (and is not)
Per the post, a Meteor Storm now hits Drill for Eggs every 4 hours, for 30 minutes, with its own music.
This is an event inside the Drill for Eggs experience, announced under GAKO World via DRILL FOR EGGS. Do not read it as:
• Fortnite Battle Royale Treasure Hunters / One Piece season content (separate TricknFix coverage).
• Fortnite Crew subscription changes (separate coverage).
• An invented Battle Pass, V-Bucks, or BR map claim — the Communities post does not document those for Meteor Storm.
UTC schedule (with Europe/Paris note)
The post lists storm starts at 00:00, 04:00, 08:00, 12:00, 16:00, and 20:00 UTC.
On 6 November 2026, Europe/Paris is on CET (UTC+1). The same UTC windows therefore correspond to:
• 00:00 UTC → 01:00 Europe/Paris
• 04:00 UTC → 05:00 Europe/Paris
• 08:00 UTC → 09:00 Europe/Paris
• 12:00 UTC → 13:00 Europe/Paris
• 16:00 UTC → 17:00 Europe/Paris
• 20:00 UTC → 21:00 Europe/Paris
Each window lasts 30 minutes. This only converts the UTC times Epic listed; it does not add extra slots or claim a separate regional schedule.
Storm and Void meteors
During the storm, the post states:
• Big Storm and Void meteors crash into the biomes.
• Each one drops an egg; you have 4 minutes to grab it.
• One meteor per storm is GOLDEN: its egg always hatches a Gold or Rainbow pet.
12 new pets (Rare to Eternal)
The post lists 12 new pets, from Rare to Eternal.
Storm: Volt Parrot, Spark Lizard, Storm Shark, Thunder Raiju, Thunder Tiger, and Plasma Hydra.
Void: Void Raven, Black Hole Cat, Void Spider, Void Caracal, Void Octopus, and Void Chimera.
No additional pets, hatch rates, or rarity odds beyond “Rare to Eternal” and the golden-meteor Gold/Rainbow rule are claimed here.
Giant Meteor finale
At the end of the storm, the post describes a Giant Meteor that crashes into every biome with players:
• Drill it together before the storm ends.
• Everyone who helps break it gets a Storm or Void egg.
• If it is still standing when the storm ends, it explodes.
Practical reading for players
• Treat the Epic Communities post as the primary source for Meteor Storm inside Drill for Eggs.
• Plan around the UTC clock (or the CET conversion above for Europe/Paris on 6 Nov 2026); windows recur every 4 hours and last 30 minutes.
• Prioritize grabbing eggs within the 4-minute window; watch for the GOLDEN meteor each storm.
• Join the Giant Meteor drill if you want the helper Storm/Void egg reward described by Epic.
• Do not confuse this Creative experience event with Battle Royale Treasure Hunters / Crew news.
