Epic’s official Crew update starts December 5: V-Bucks rise with tenure up to 1,600, +20%/+10% XP, $11.99 unchanged. OG Pass and monthly Crew Pack outfits end; Battle Pass, Music, LEGO and Rocket Pass Premium stay.

Epic Games has published Big Changes to Fortnite Crew Launching December 5. The changes take effect on December 5, 2026. This is a subscription-benefits update, not a new Battle Royale season announcement and not a repeat of the Treasure Hunters / One Piece season brief.

What changes on December 5

According to the official Fortnite news post:
  • Monthly V-Bucks for Crew members start at 1,000 and rise with continuous subscription tenure, reaching 1,600 at 12 months.
  • The OG Pass ends on December 5, with what Epic describes as a dramatic conclusion at the end of Chapter 1: OG Season X. Epic says the next era of Fortnite OG drops in late 2027.
  • Crew members earn +20% Fortnite XP; party members without Crew earn +10% XP while playing with a Crew member.
  • Crew Pack outfits end; December’s pack is the final one. Epic says all Legacy Styles for Crew Pack outfits you already own will be granted.

What does not change

Epic states that:
  • the Fortnite Crew price stays $11.99 USD;
  • the Fortnite Battle Pass, Music Pass, LEGO Pass and Rocket Pass Premium remain included.
Epic also lists the remaining 2026 pass lineup: Music Mini-Pass on November 12, then LEGO Mini-Pass and Fortnite Battle Pass on December 5.

V-Bucks tenure tiers

Epic’s Crew subscription page breaks the new monthly grant into four tenure bands:
  • Core — 1–2 — 1,000
  • Bronze — 3–5 — 1,200
  • Silver — 6–11 — 1,400
  • Gold — 12+ — 1,600
If you were previously subscribed, Epic says resubscribing between December 6 and December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET lets your starting tier reflect your most recent continuous subscription period over the past 12 months. Current subscribers should check the in-game Crew tab on December 5 for their starting tier. Already subscribed players do not need a separate action to keep the subscription when the changes roll out.

XP boost stacking rules

Epic’s FAQ says Crew XP boosts do not stack with each other, and party boosts do not stack either. Party members without Crew get one 10% boost no matter how many Crew members are in the party.

Crew Pack Legacy Styles

Epic says all Legacy Styles will be granted in December for Crew Packs (Outfits, Pickaxes and Back Blings) you own, whether or not you are currently subscribed. The final December Crew Pack is granted to subscribers throughout December.

Limits of this article

Prices outside the USD figure Epic published, regional storefront wording, tax and payment-provider details are not invented here. This is not a recommendation to subscribe or cancel. Shop cosmetics such as A$AP Rocky or BLEACH items are outside the scope of this Crew benefits update. Always re-read Epic’s live Crew tab and FAQ closer to December 5 if your billing date or tenure is unusual.
