The Gallery in EA SPORTS FC 27 Ultimate Team (sometimes searched for as "FIFA 27") groups Gallery Sets that you fill with your Player Items to earn rewards and raise your Gallery Level. Several behaviours catch players out: a loan player being rejected, an evolved player keeping its old rating, a Set grade that stays low. They are all explained by the rules published by EA, checked on 27 October 2026.
Problem
- A player is not accepted in a Gallery Set.
- A player upgraded through an Evolution shows its old rating in the Gallery.
- The Set is completed, but its grade (D, C, B, A or S) stays low.
- Worry about losing the players placed in the Gallery, as in an SBC.

Step 1: complete a Gallery Set without losing players
When to use it: to fill a Set or check the procedure.
Suggested solution
- Open the Main Menu, then Club.
- Select Gallery and choose a Gallery Set.
- Read the Set requirements and add eligible Player Items. Autocomplete adds your best available eligible Items; you can also choose them yourself.
- Select Confirm Changes.
Expected result: the Set is completed. Unlike Squad Building Challenges (SBCs), EA states that completing a Gallery Set does not submit or remove the players from your Club.

Step 2: player rejected in a Set
When to use it: a player is not offered or not accepted.
Suggested solution
- Check whether it is a Loan Item: EA states that Loan Items are not eligible for the Gallery and do not count toward Gallery Sets.
- Then check the requirements of the chosen Set: the player must meet them.
- According to EA, most other Player Items (obtained through Packs, the Transfer Market, Objectives, SBCs and other Ultimate Team rewards) can be added to the Gallery.
Expected result: you know whether the player is excluded by nature (loan) or does not meet the Set requirements.
Step 3: evolved player shown with its old rating
When to use it: a player upgraded through an Evolution keeps its original rating in the Gallery.
Suggested solution
- This is how it is meant to work: EA states that Evolution upgrades do not carry over to the Gallery and that the Item's entry stays based on its original version.
- To improve a Set grade, rely on the players' original rating, not on their evolved version.
Expected result: the rating shown in the Gallery matches the player's original version; no action is needed.

Step 4: improve a Set grade that is too low
When to use it: the Set is completed, but the grade does not unlock the reward you want.
Suggested solution
- Keep EA's distinction in mind: completing a Set means meeting its requirements; its grade depends on the Item Score of the players placed.
- Return to the Set later, when you have eligible players with a higher score, to try to improve the grade.
- The same player can be used in several Gallery Sets.
- A player does not need to stay in your Club: according to EA, an eligible Item that passed through your Club can still count toward your Gallery after you sell it.
Expected result: the Set grade goes up. If you jump straight to a higher grade (for example S), EA states that you also get all the rewards from the lower grades.
Gallery Tokens and Gallery Level
- Grading Sets can earn Gallery Tokens, to spend in the Gallery Token Store (Kits, Badges, base Hall of FUT Items, according to EA). The rewards in this store can change throughout the Season.
- Completing Sets and improving their grades raises your Gallery Level, which moves you through Gallery Objectives.
Final check
- ☐ No Loan Item is used in the Set.
- ☐ Evolved players are counted with their original rating.
- ☐ The Set grade has been reviewed with the best eligible players available.
- ☐ Changes were saved with Confirm Changes.
