In Ultimate Team in EA SPORTS FC 27 (sometimes searched for as "FIFA 27"), EA gives FC 27 Club Members a special Evolution: Hall of FUT – David Luiz ("Hall of FUT - David Luiz Pathway Evolution"). It has been available since November 1, 2026. If you can't find it or can't use it, the cause is almost always one of three things: Club Member status wasn't earned in time, the Evolution is in a tab you haven't opened, or none of your players meets its requirements. This guide follows the rules published by EA to check each point.
Problem
- The David Luiz Evolution doesn't appear in Available Evolutions.
- You thought you were an FC 27 Club Member, but no reward of this kind shows up.
- The Evolution is visible, but none of your players can be submitted to it.
- You're unsure which of the three paths to choose and worry about making a mistake.
What to know before you act
- A Club Member reward: according to EA's October 28, 2026 article, this Evolution goes to players who became FC 27 Club Members, meaning those who played EA SPORTS FC 26 and EA SPORTS FC 27 before November 1, 2026. The detailed conditions (same EA account, online connection, trials not counted) are explained in our guide Club Member status missing in EA SPORTS FC 27: conditions before November 1.
- It isn't in the usual list: EA says it is found in the Rewards section of the Evolutions menu, not among the Evolutions available to everyone.
- No announced deadline to complete it: EA says you can complete it at your own pace. Time limits may still appear in game for some Evolutions (see step 4).
- The other Club Member rewards (Red Bull kits and crests in Ultimate Team, an AXP multiplier in The Grounds, Gareth Bale in Career modes) have existed since launch. They follow the same status conditions.
- Labels: EA's article is published in English only, including on its French version. The path and PlayStyle names below are therefore in English; they may be translated differently in game.
Step 1: check your FC 27 Club Member status
When to use it: always first. Without this status, the Evolution can't appear.
Suggested solution
- Check that you launched EA SPORTS FC 26 and EA SPORTS FC 27 online, with the same EA account, before the deadline (November 1, 2026, 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time, i.e. 8:00 a.m. Paris time, according to EA's Club Membership article).
- Check that you connected to FC 27 in the full game. According to EA, neither the EA SPORTS FC Companion app nor trials (including the EA Play trial) count.
- If you changed platform between FC 26 and FC 27, check that both games are linked to the same EA account. On Steam, see Steam account linked to the wrong EA account in EA SPORTS FC 27: check and fix.
Expected result: you know whether you met the conditions before the deadline.
When to stop: if either game wasn't launched in time, EA states that you can no longer become an FC 27 Club Member. The David Luiz Evolution won't be granted to you, and nothing you do in game can get it.
Step 2: open the Rewards tab of the Evolutions menu
When to use it: you met the conditions, but you can't see the Evolution.
Suggested solution
- Open Ultimate Team, then the Club tab, then Evolutions.
- Open the Rewards tab of the Evolutions screen. This is where EA places Evolutions earned as rewards (season pass, Club Member, etc.), not in Available Evolutions.
- Look for the Hall of FUT – David Luiz Evolution.
Expected result: the Evolution appears in the Rewards tab.
When to move on: if it isn't there, go to step 3.
Step 3: give the reward time to arrive
When to use it: you're an FC 27 Club Member, but the Evolution isn't in the Rewards tab.
Suggested solution
- Wait: according to EA Help, a reward can take up to 24 hours to appear.
- Exit and relaunch Ultimate Team, or restart the game.
- Check the EA SPORTS FC Direct channel on X to see whether EA reports a known issue with rewards.
- If the Evolution still doesn't appear after that delay, follow the EA Help page How to find your missing EA SPORTS FC rewards, which also lets you contact support.
Expected result: the Evolution appears in the Rewards tab after the delay stated by EA.
Step 4: choose an eligible player and a path
When to use it: the Evolution is visible, but no player can be submitted to it, or you want to avoid a mistake.
According to EA, a player submitted to an Evolution becomes untradable while the Evolution is applied. During the Evolution, you can neither discard the player nor use them in Squad Building Challenges (SBCs).
Suggested solution
- Select the Evolution and read its requirements in game. EA doesn't publish these eligibility criteria in its article: only the Evolution screen shows them.
- If none of your players qualifies, the list of offered players stays empty or greyed out. You'll need to get a player who meets the displayed requirements.
- Before confirming, use Preview Evolution (select the Evolution, then a player, then Preview Evolution). EA also advises knowing the player's base stats, because upgrades are capped at a maximum value.
- Choose a path. EA offers three:
- The Finisher: shooting, free kick accuracy, shot power, long shots and the Dead Ball PlayStyle (set pieces).
- The Champion: defending, physical, passing and penalties, with a defensive PlayStyle.
- A National Hero: pace, physical, passing and aggression, with a build-up PlayStyle.
- Don't worry if you change your mind: EA says you can change path at any time before claiming a level, including when claiming it.
- In My Evolutions, check that the Evolution is set to Active: according to EA Help, this is required to progress toward its objectives.
- Finally, check the time limits shown in game. According to EA Help, some Evolutions display Get Within X Days (time to activate the slot) and/or Expires In X Days (time to complete it). If the second delay runs out, you keep only the completed levels.
Expected result: the player is submitted to the Evolution, the path is chosen and progress starts.
Rollback: an Evolution can be removed from a player, but EA states that removal is final and irreversible. Details are in Removing an Evolution from a Player in EA SPORTS FC 27: effects and limits.

- ☐ The 24-hour delay stated by EA has passed if it doesn't appear.
- ☐ The player requirements were read in game, and the preview checked before confirming.
