In EA SPORTS FC 27 (sometimes searched for as "FIFA 27"), match commentary may be in English when you expected another language. According to EA Help, this is the default: commentary is set to English by default in EA SPORTS FC. The language is changed in the game settings, separately from the menu language.

Special cases
- Audio content to download: EA's article mentions downloading audio downloadable content (DLC) for the commentary, without detailing the steps. If the game shows a download message after you choose the language, let it finish before starting a match.
- No sound at all, or sound cutting out: this is not a language problem. EA states that audio glitches such as loss of sound can be fixed by deleting the Personal Settings 1 file from Customise > Profile > Delete, at the cost of your Skill Game progress and custom controller layout.
