In The Grounds, the open world of EA SPORTS FC 27 (sometimes searched for as "FIFA 27"), an Amp, Consumable, clothing item or bundle won't let you buy it, or an item you bought can't be found? EA Help lists four reasons why an item may be unavailable and states where each type of purchase goes. This guide follows those points in diagnostic order.
Problem
- The purchase button is unavailable or the purchase is refused in a The Grounds store.
- A vanity item (clothing, hairstyle, emote…) doesn't appear in the map's Store tab.
- An item you bought doesn't show up where you're looking for it.
Step 1: read the item's information
When to use it: first, as soon as a purchase is refused.
Suggested solution
Open the item's information in the store: EA states that it shows its requirements, price, accepted currency, remaining purchases and availability. Compare with the four documented causes:

Expected result: the reason for the refusal is identified.
Which currency to use?
According to EA, you earn Grounds Coins by playing games and completing Objectives in The Grounds, and some items can also be bought with EA SPORTS FC™ Points. The accepted currency depends on the item: check its information before buying. Some items can also be earned through Objectives or other gameplay rewards.
Featured Bundles
A Featured Bundle can be limited in time and have its own purchase limit. When an Amp or Consumable is included in a bundle, its availability in that offer follows the bundle's expiry and limit, not those of the item sold on its own.
Step 2: vanity item missing from the Store tab
When to use it: you're looking for clothing or another vanity item from the map.
Suggested solution
- The Store tab of the World Map only sells Amps and Consumables.
- For vanity items, visit a World Store: EA lists the Terrace, Montclair, Parkside and Zeiza.
- World Stores can offer vanity items and bundles specific to their location, and availability can change over time: compare several stores.
Expected result: the vanity item is found in one of the World Stores, or it isn't currently on offer.
Step 3: find an item you bought
When to use it: the purchase went through but you can't see the item.
Suggested solution

Expected result: the item appears in the matching inventory and can be equipped.

Good to know before buying
- Amps and Consumables are the same wherever you buy them (Store tab, World Store or Clubhouse Store).
- Some Consumables have requirements based on your Archetype or its level: read their information before buying.
- Items obtained in The Grounds can't be sold or traded. You don't need to discard items to free up space.
- Street Appearance is separate from your Clubs Appearance, although some items can be used in both.

Final check
- ☐ The item's information (level, limit, availability, currency) has been read.
- ☐ For a vanity item: a World Store was visited, not just the map's Store tab.
- ☐ The purchased item was looked for in the right inventory (Appearance or Archetypes menu).
- ☐ After equipping a kit or top, the changes were saved.
