Player Quick Sold by mistake in EA SPORTS FC 27: get it back

English translation of the original French post. Code, commands, paths and error codes keep their original meaning. Replies and moderation are shared in the original discussion.

This guide covers Ultimate Team™ in EA SPORTS FC 27 (sometimes searched for as "FIFA 27") when a Player Item has been Quick Sold or discarded by mistake. EA offers an official tool, Quick Sell Recovery, but it is only available in the Web App and the Companion App, not in the game on PC, and it is subject to strict limits on time, number and Coins. EA Help states that it cannot restore a player beyond these limits.

Problem

  • A player was Quick Sold or discarded by mistake in Ultimate Team™.
  • You cannot find any option to undo the sale in the game on PC.
  • The recovery is refused or the item does not appear in the list.

Step 1: check that the item can be recovered

When to use it: before any attempt. These conditions are set by EA and no setting can get around them.

Suggested solution

ConditionRule given by EA
Item typeOnly Player Items are recoverable; no other Quick Sold item is
Time limitUp to seven days after the Quick Sell
Loan playersLoan Player Items cannot be recovered
Game versionOnly for the current version of FC, here EA SPORTS FC 27
NumberFive recoveries per 31-day period, unused recoveries do not roll over
CoinsYou need at least as many Coins as you got from the Quick Sell

EA also states that it cannot restore an Ultimate Team™ that has been deleted.

Expected result: if all the conditions are met, go to step 2. Otherwise, recovery is not possible with this tool.

Step 2: check your Coins before starting the recovery

When to use it: if you have spent Coins since the Quick Sell.

Suggested solution

  1. Find out how many Coins the Quick Sell gave you.
  2. Check that your Club has at least that amount. EA gives this example: if the Quick Sell gave you 500 Coins, you need 500 Coins in your Club, which will be deducted when you get the player back.

Expected result: your balance covers the amount that will be deducted.

Step 3: recover the player in the Web or Companion App

When to use it: the conditions in steps 1 and 2 are met.

Suggested solution

  1. Log in to the EA SPORTS FC™ Web App or the Companion App (iOS or Android) with the EA Account linked to your game.
  2. Select Club.
  3. Select Quick Sell Recovery. The app also shows how many recoveries you have left and when they reset.
  4. Use the calendar icon to choose the day of the Quick Sell.
  5. Select the Player Item you want to recover.
  6. Select Recover.

Expected result: the item returns to your Unassigned Items and the Coins from the initial sale are deducted. You can then assign it from the Ultimate Team™ Store or the Home screen.

Special cases

  • No recoveries left: EA states that it cannot reset the timer or add more recoveries. Once all five recoveries are used, its advisors cannot restore a Quick Sold player. Wait for the reset shown in the app.
  • Quick Sell older than seven days: the tool can no longer recover it.
  • Item other than a player (consumable, club item, etc.): it cannot be recovered.

Beware of any service promising to recover a player for payment or in exchange for your login details: the only route described by EA is the Quick Sell Recovery tool.

Final check

  • ☐ The item is a non-loan player, Quick Sold less than seven days ago.
  • ☐ You have at least one recovery left in the current 31-day period.
  • ☐ The Club has at least as many Coins as the sale gave you.
  • ☐ The player appears in Unassigned Items after the recovery.
