This guide covers Ultimate Team™ in EA SPORTS FC 27 (sometimes searched for as "FIFA 27") when a Player Item has been Quick Sold or discarded by mistake. EA offers an official tool, Quick Sell Recovery, but it is only available in the Web App and the Companion App, not in the game on PC, and it is subject to strict limits on time, number and Coins. EA Help states that it cannot restore a player beyond these limits.
Step 1: check that the item can be recovered
When to use it: before any attempt. These conditions are set by EA and no setting can get around them.
Step 2: check your Coins before starting the recovery
When to use it: if you have spent Coins since the Quick Sell.
Step 3: recover the player in the Web or Companion App
When to use it: the conditions in steps 1 and 2 are met.
Special cases
- No recoveries left: EA states that it cannot reset the timer or add more recoveries. Once all five recoveries are used, its advisors cannot restore a Quick Sold player. Wait for the reset shown in the app.
- Quick Sell older than seven days: the tool can no longer recover it.
- Item other than a player (consumable, club item, etc.): it cannot be recovered.
Beware of any service promising to recover a player for payment or in exchange for your login details: the only route described by EA is the Quick Sell Recovery tool.
Final check
- ☐ The item is a non-loan player, Quick Sold less than seven days ago.
- ☐ You have at least one recovery left in the current 31-day period.
- ☐ The Club has at least as many Coins as the sale gave you.
- ☐ The player appears in Unassigned Items after the recovery.
