Nightclub income dropping in GTA Online: popularity and management missions

English translation of the original French post. Code, commands, paths and error codes keep their original meaning. Replies and moderation are shared in the original discussion.

The GTA Online Nightclub, added with the After Hours update (July 2018), earns money in two different ways: a daily income paid into the club's safe, and the Nightclub Warehouse goods that you have to sell. This guide helps you work out which of the two is dropping and which action gets it going again.

Problem

  • The Nightclub safe fills up less, or not at all.
  • The dance floor is almost empty.
  • The Nightclub Warehouse stock is not increasing.
  • You do not know how to start the club's management missions.

What to know before acting

  • Two separate incomes: the club's Daily Income, linked to its popularity, and the sale of goods produced in the warehouse.
  • Popularity can be managed: Rockstar says Club Management / Nightclub Management missions increase popularity, "ensuring that the dance floor stays crowded and the cash keeps flowing".
  • Where the money goes: Rockstar describes the club's income as money going into the club's safe. The safe's capacity was increased in December 2021.
  • In-game names: the official sources consulted are in English (Nightclub, Daily Income, Club Management, Nightclub Warehouse, Business Battles). Labels may differ in other language versions of the game.

Step 1: identify which income is dropping

Full stock but no moneySale not madeStep 4

Step 2: raise popularity with management missions

When to use it: the dance floor is empty and the safe fills slowly.

Suggested solution

  1. Enter your Nightclub.
  2. Start a Club Management mission: Rockstar says you can talk to Tony Prince or log in to the office computer of the club.
  3. Complete the mission. Rockstar mentions examples such as dealing with paparazzi, bouncing troublemakers or chaperoning VIPs.
  4. Repeat when popularity drops again.

What it does: according to Rockstar, completing these missions increases the club's popularity, which keeps attendance and income up.

Expected result: the dance floor fills up and the club's safe fills more over the following days.

Note: in the announcements consulted, Rockstar does not publish precise figures on how quickly popularity drops or on the exact daily income amount. This guide therefore gives none.

Step 3: get warehouse stock going again

When to use it: the Nightclub Warehouse goods stock is not increasing.

Suggested solution

  1. Check how production is going in your Nightclub's warehouse. Rockstar attributes production to the Nightclub Warehouse staff; the announcements consulted do not detail how to assign them to each type of goods.
  2. To get extra goods, call Yohan from your phone and select Request Nightclub Goods: he points you to cargo shipments to intercept.
  3. You can also earn goods by winning Business Battles.

Expected result: the warehouse stock increases.

Step 4: sell the goods

When to use it: the stock is there, but you are not earning anything.

Suggested solution

  1. Start a Nightclub Sell Mission to sell the warehouse stock.
  2. Another option: Street Dealers. Rockstar says they are marked on the map with a purple speech bubble and buy product directly from the Nightclub, MC businesses and the Acid Lab.

Expected result: the GTA$ are credited at the end of the sale.

Special cases

  • You do not own a Nightclub: Rockstar says Nightclub properties and their upgrades are bought on the Maze Bank Foreclosures website.
  • Event bonuses: the doubled or tripled daily income, doubled popularity and faster production mentioned in Rockstar's announcements all have end dates. A drop may simply mean a bonus has ended: check the current week's announcement.
  • Do not confuse it with the Arcade or the Car Wash: each business has its own income rules. This guide only covers the Nightclub.

Final check

  • ☐ You have identified the income that is dropping: safe (popularity) or warehouse (goods).
  • ☐ A management mission was started via Tony Prince or the office computer, then completed.
  • ☐ The warehouse stock is increasing, or goods were obtained via Yohan or Business Battles.
  • ☐ The stock was sold through a Sell Mission or to a Street Dealer.
