You completed a GTA Online Weekly Challenge, but the money or the promised outfit has not shown up? Before assuming the reward is lost, note that Rockstar Games announces a delayed payout, and the challenge must be completed during the right week. This guide summarises what Rockstar's official announcements say so you can check your case, especially during the October 2026 Halloween event.
What to know before acting
- One challenge per week: Rockstar announces a specific challenge each week. An activity completed outside the stated week does not count towards that challenge.
- Payout delay: in its announcements, Rockstar states that bonuses hit your Maze Bank account within 72 hours of logging in or completing the associated challenge. For the Halloween 2026 series, the GTA$2,000,000 bonus is also announced as "delivered within 72 hours of completion" once all the challenges are achieved.
- In-game tracking: Rockstar says you can check your progress on each Weekly Challenge via the Interaction Menu.
- In-game names: the official announcements read are in English. Labels in localised versions of the game may differ.
The Halloween 2026 schedule announced by Rockstar
According to the 5 October 2026 announcement, each October challenge awards an outfit and GTA$:
| Week | Announced challenge | Announced reward |
|---|---|---|
| October 1–7 | Secure two Bail Office Bounties | Green Vintage Skull Mask + GTA$100,000 |
| October 8–14 | Win in two Adversary modes | Pink Skull Emissive Mask + GTA$100,000 |
| October 15–21 | Win three Races | Orange Glow Skeleton Onesie + GTA$100,000 |
| October 22–28 | Complete all waves of a Survival | Gray Space Interloper Outfit + GTA$150,000 |
| October 29–November 4 | Complete 10 waves in a Survival without dying | Slasher Clown Outfit + GTA$250,000 |
Completing all of these challenges also earns an extra GTA$2,000,000. This final bonus can therefore only arrive after the last challenge (week of October 29 to November 4), then within the 72-hour delay.
Step 1: check that the challenge is completed
When to use it: you think you completed the challenge, but nothing has arrived.
Expected result: you know whether the challenge is completed, in progress or not started.
When to stop: if the challenge is not completed, no reward is pending. Complete it before the end of the stated week.
Step 2: allow the 72-hour delay
When to use it: the challenge is completed, but the money or the outfit has not appeared.
Expected result: the GTA$ appears in your in-game bank account and the outfit in your wardrobe.
When to stop: there is no point replaying the challenge during this delay: nothing in the announcements read says you need to complete it a second time.
Step 3: check you are using the right character and the right version
When to use it: the delay has passed and you play with several characters or several versions of the game.
Expected result: you find the reward on the right character or the right version.
Step 4: contact Rockstar Support
When to use it: the challenge is completed, more than 72 hours have passed and nothing has arrived on the right character.
Expected result: Support can check the payout on your account.
