Prerequisites

Step 1: Appeal from the EA Moderator direct message
When to use it: you think you were banned by mistake and you received the DM from EA Moderator.
Suggested solution
- Open your DM from EA Moderator.
- Select the Appeals button directly in the message.
- Fill out the form: the case reference number is already filled in. Add a description of your issue, whether you recently recovered your account, and your email.
- Select Submit.
Expected result: the appeal is sent to EA's Moderation team for review.
Step 2: Appeal from EA Help
When to use it: the form won't open in Discord, or your direct messages were turned off.
Suggested solution
- Open the appeal form on EA Help.
- Choose Submit a Discord appeal as your issue.
- Enter the case reference number exactly as it appears in the EA Moderator message: otherwise, EA says it won't be able to help with your appeal.
- Describe the situation factually and politely.
Expected result: an appeal request is open with EA.
Step 3: Report a player instead of replying
When to use it: another server member is harassing you or breaking the rules, and you want to avoid a sanction by not answering back yourself.
Suggested solution
- In a text channel, right-click the username or message. On a phone, tap and hold the username or message.
- In the pop-up menu, go to Apps.
- Select Report User to EA to report a player, or Report Message to EA to report a message.

Expected result: the report is reviewed and you get a DM about its outcome. For privacy reasons, EA doesn't share what action it takes on another player's account.
