GTA+ benefits missing in GTA Online on PC: causes and solutions

English translation of the original French post. Code, commands, paths and error codes keep their original meaning. Replies and moderation are shared in the original discussion.

Your GTA+ membership is active, but GTA Online on PC does not show the expected benefits: no monthly GTA$500,000 bonus, no Vinewood Club access, or membership status not recognised. On PC, Rockstar Games limits GTA+ to GTA V Enhanced, so that is the first thing to check. This guide follows the Rockstar Games support articles listed at the end of the topic, checked on October 27, 2026.

Problem

  • The GTA+ membership is paid, but the benefits do not appear in GTA Online on PC.
  • The monthly GTA$500,000 bonus did not arrive on the expected date.
  • You do not know where to manage or check your membership for the launcher you use.

What Rockstar Games says

PointRule stated by Rockstar Games
PlatformsGTA Online on PC (GTA V Enhanced), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S
GTA V LegacyNot covered by GTA+ on PC
GTA$500,000 bonusPaid to the Maze Bank account on each membership renewal or billing, not tied to the start of in-game events
AvailabilityGTA+ is not offered in all regions

The current list of benefits is published on the Rockstar Games GTA+ Benefits page.

Prerequisites

  • Know which launcher you play with: Rockstar Games Launcher, Steam, Epic Games Store or the Xbox app for PC.
  • Be signed in with the Rockstar Games account linked to the membership.

Step 1: check that you are playing GTA V Enhanced

When to use it: no GTA+ benefit shows in game.

Suggested solution

  1. Check which edition you launch: on PC, GTA V Legacy and GTA V Enhanced are two separate versions.
  2. If you launch GTA V Legacy, launch GTA V Enhanced instead: Rockstar Games states that GTA+ on PC only covers GTA V Enhanced. To compare the two editions, see GTA V Enhanced or Legacy on PC: choosing the version for your hardware.
  3. If your character is missing from GTA V Enhanced, follow GTA Online character missing from GTA V Enhanced on PC: migrate your profile.

Expected result: in GTA V Enhanced, GTA+ content appears in game.

Step 2: check the membership from the right launcher

When to use it: you are playing GTA V Enhanced, but your membership status is not recognised.

Suggested solution

  1. Rockstar Games Launcher: open the launcher, then GTA+ > Manage GTA+.
  2. Epic Games Store: check the Epic Games account Subscriptions page.
  3. Steam: follow the Steam Support FAQ given by Rockstar Games to manage the membership.
  4. Xbox app for PC: the membership is tied to your Microsoft account and managed from Microsoft Store > Microsoft account > Subscriptions (see Xbox Support subscriptions and billing). Rockstar Games states that you subscribe inside a GTA Online session, from the GTA+ tab of the Rockstar Games in-game menu.
  5. Check that the membership is active and attached to the account you play with.

Expected result: the membership shows as active on the launcher you play with.

Step 3: check the date of the GTA$500,000 bonus

When to use it: the other benefits work, but the monthly bonus has not arrived.

Suggested solution

  1. Find your membership renewal date using the method in step 2 (GTA+ > Manage GTA+ in the Rockstar Games Launcher or on Epic Games, Steam FAQ on Steam).
  2. Compare that date with the date of the last bonus: Rockstar Games states that the payment follows renewal or billing, not the start of an in-game event.
  3. Check the Maze Bank balance after the renewal date.

Expected result: the bonus appears after the membership renews.

Step 4: update the game, then contact support

When to use it: the membership is active on GTA V Enhanced, but the status is still not recognised.

Suggested solution

  1. Install the latest GTA V Enhanced updates from your launcher. A PC (Enhanced) fix of March 13, 2025, published in the Title Update 1.70 notes, already fixed several issues where GTA+ status was not recognised in game on PC.
  2. Restart GTA Online and check again.
  3. If nothing changes, open a request on the Rockstar Games request form: choose the GTA+ category, then the "GTA+ membership benefits" issue type.

Expected result: your membership status is recognised, or the support request is logged.

Special cases noted by Rockstar Games

  • After a membership expires, you may have to wait a short time before you can subscribe again.
  • If you are banned or suspended, the membership must be cancelled manually: it does not stop on its own.

Final check

  • ☐ You are playing GTA V Enhanced, not GTA V Legacy.
  • ☐ The membership is active on the launcher you play with.
  • ☐ The renewal date matches the period of the expected bonus.
  • ☐ The game is up to date.
  • ☐ A "GTA+ membership benefits" request has been sent to support if the problem persists.
