NVIDIA GeForce 621.14 WHQL: WoW: Forever, DLSS 5 in Hogwarts Legacy, RTX 50 video black-screen fix (November 4, 2026)

Consulted November 5, 2026 (Europe/Paris). NVIDIA released GeForce Game Ready Driver 621.14 WHQL on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, for Windows 10 64-bit and Windows 11. It is the WHQL follow-up to driver 621.01 and includes the fix for video playback freezes or black screens that some RTX 50 Series owners reported after 621.01.

What 621.14 is Game Ready for

• World of Warcraft: Forever, which NVIDIA says launches November 4.
• DOOM: The Dark Ages | Revelations, for the new Slaughter Mode that NVIDIA says arrives later in November.
• DLSS 5 with 3D-Guided Neural Rendering in Hogwarts Legacy and War Thunder. NVIDIA says War Thunder gets it with the Eagle's Shadow update "in just a few weeks", so it isn't available in that game yet.

Bugs fixed

• Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4: the game could show incorrect colors (NVIDIA bug 6972531).
• Video playback could freeze or show a black screen on some GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs and RTX Spark systems after updating to driver 621.01 (bug 6979343).

If you installed the 621.12 hotfix for the video issue, NVIDIA's 621.14 notes list the same fix in a WHQL driver.

How to install it

• Open the NVIDIA App and go to Drivers, or download 621.14 from NVIDIA's official driver page (about 1.04 GB).
• Pick Express install in most cases. Use a clean install only if you are troubleshooting a specific driver problem.
• Restart if the installer asks you to.

What the notes don't say

NVIDIA doesn't give performance figures for WoW: Forever in these notes, so TricknFix doesn't quote any. We haven't benchmarked this driver. These notes also say nothing new about when Windows 10 driver support will end. 621.14 itself still supports Windows 10.
