Minecraft Bedrock 26.62 hotfix: Xbox stability, Switch 2 crash fix and Realms purchase sync (November 5, 2026)
Mojang’s Bedrock Edition 26.62 hotfix changelog, posted November 5, 2026, rolls out platform-by-platform approvals. It fixes block selection blocking entity interaction, improves Xbox stability under memory pressure, fixes a Nintendo Switch 2 crash with many rendered objects, and corrects Realms cloud-sync settings that could overwrite purchase config values.
Consulted November 5, 2026 (Europe/Paris). Mojang published the Minecraft: Bedrock Edition 26.62 Hotfix Changelog on Minecraft Feedback, dated Posted: 5 November 2026. The studio says the hotfix is rolling out to address issues found in the latest update and will become available on each platform as it is approved — so storefront timing can differ by platform.
This is a stable Bedrock hotfix, not a Java snapshot and not the experimental Drop 4 preview/snapshot line (calcite / “Flurry” disc testing).
Fixes listed by Mojang
Graphical
- Fixed an issue where block selection prevents interaction with entities inside blocks.
Stability and performance
- Improve stability on Xbox when under significant memory pressure.
- Fixed a crash on Nintendo Switch 2 that could occur when rendering scenes with a large number of objects.
Realms
- Fixed an issue where cached cloud sync settings could sometimes overwrite config values used during a Realms purchase.
What players should do
- Wait for the platform store / launcher to offer 26.62 (or the hotfix build your store labels as the Nov 2026 Bedrock hotfix).
- Update, then retest: selecting blocks around entities, heavy scenes on Switch 2, Xbox sessions under load, and Realms purchase/sync flows if you were affected.
- Report remaining bugs via Mojang’s usual Feedback / bugs channels — TricknFix has not independently reproduced each platform timing.
What this is not
- Not Java Edition 26.4 Snapshot 7 and not a promise that Drop 4 ice content is fully live on every Bedrock SKU today.
- Not a Windows GPU driver or Patch Tuesday article.
- No invented FPS gains, seed lists, or “must download now” storefront countdowns beyond Mojang’s rolling approval note.
