[Estimate] GTA VI digital pre-orders: Sensor Tower estimates 7.71 million and about $751M — what is known and what is not
Analytics firm Sensor Tower estimates about 7.71 million digital pre-orders of GTA VI on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S (about $751M), with a 74% / 26% PS5–Xbox split. Rockstar and Take-Two have not confirmed any pre-order figure; physical copies are not counted.
What Sensor Tower estimates
- Total: about 7.71 million digital pre-orders, about $751 million.
- PS5: about 5.74 million (74%), about $559 million.
- Xbox Series X|S: about 1.97 million (26%), about $192 million.
- Trend: the previous update (around October 20) stood at about 6.45 million and $630 million, so roughly 1.26 million more in about two weeks.
What these numbers do not cover
- They are model estimates by a third party, not sales data from Rockstar, Take-Two, Sony or Microsoft.
- They cover digital store pre-orders only: copies reserved at retailers are not counted, so the real total is likely higher.
- No PC version is announced, so there is no PC figure.
Why it matters for players
The figures mainly show strong demand ahead of the November 19, 2026 launch (midnight local time) and the pre-load from November 10. They change nothing about how or when you can play.
