Consulted November 5, 2026 (Europe/Paris). Pearl Abyss published Crimson Desert patch 2.04.06, an all-platform hotfix, on November 4, 2026 at 05:10 UTC (06:10 Paris time). The notes were revised the same day. According to Pearl Abyss, the patch is available now on Steam (PC and Mac), PlayStation, Xbox and the Epic Games Store. It will come to the Mac App Store later.
AMD crash and framerate
- [AMD] Fixed a crash in Pailune when the Cinematic graphics option was enabled with AMD driver 26.10.1.
- Framerate drops in some areas were improved, not fully fixed. Pearl Abyss says it will keep working on framerate drops in certain situations and content.
If you play on a Radeon card and lowered your settings to get around the Pailune crash, you can switch Cinematic back on after updating.
Missions and pioneering
- Sending out two or more pioneering missions no longer blocks you from completing an earlier mission.
- Pioneering now completes even when a ship is near the anchorage.
- Abyss Cressets at ocean Secret Places and Ruins now work properly.
- The Level 5 management popularity reward now applies to all characters.
Other crashes and bugs
- The game no longer crashes when diving as Damiane with the language set to Latin American Spanish.
- The game no longer crashes when approaching a house built in Free Construction mode, and the screen no longer stays black when entering that mode.
- The game no longer returns to the title screen when you gift several items to an NPC.
- The Lumen Sword can no longer be destroyed, and a destroyed one can now be restored.
- Trade goods no longer vanish when moved from a ship to a wagon. Outlaw icons show on the maps again.
Still open
Pearl Abyss lists one item as not fixed: "Rewards are not granted when defeating the Phantom Ship and the Drunken Catfish." Ongoing framerate work and the Mac App Store release are also still pending. See Pearl Abyss's Crimson Desert Known Issues notice for the full list.
