A Superyacht Life is a series of GTA Online contact missions set around your yacht. They are not offered to every player: Rockstar reserves them for owners of a Galaxy Super Yacht, and they are launched with Captain Brendan Darcy. This guide explains how to check these conditions and find the right starting point.
Problem
- You cannot find the A Superyacht Life missions.
- Captain Darcy does not appear in your contacts or offers you nothing.
- A bonus or weekly challenge on A Superyacht Life does not apply to you.
- You are confusing the yacht with another sea-based property (for example the Kosatka submarine from The Cayo Perico Heist).
What to know before acting
- A Galaxy Super Yacht is required: Rockstar states that owners of a Galaxy Super Yacht can launch these missions. The announcements name three models: Pisces, Orion and Aquarius (the latter presented as the most expensive and luxurious).
- An ordinary boat or the Kosatka is not enough: the Kosatka is the submarine that serves as the base for The Cayo Perico Heist, a separate property. The announcements read do not mention it for A Superyacht Life.
- PC Legacy and PC Enhanced: Rockstar's announcements about A Superyacht Life are published for both PC versions of GTA V.
- In-game names: the official sources read are in English (A Superyacht Life, Galaxy Super Yacht, DockTease, Captain Darcy). Labels in other language versions of the game may differ.
Step 1: check that you own a Galaxy Super Yacht
When to use it: you are not sure whether your boat is a Super Yacht.
Suggested solution
- Open the DockTease website on the in-game phone or computer. Rockstar states that this is where Galaxy Super Yacht models are bought.
- If you do not own a Super Yacht, buy a Galaxy model (Pisces, Orion or Aquarius). Discounts are announced regularly: check the week's announcement before buying.
- If you already own a model, go on board.
Expected result: your yacht is accessible and you can go up to the bridge.
Step 2: start a mission with Captain Darcy
When to use it: you own a Galaxy Super Yacht, but no mission is running.
Suggested solution
- Go up to the bridge of your Galaxy Super Yacht and talk to Captain Brendan Darcy.
- Or call Captain Darcy from the in-game phone. Rockstar mentions both ways in.
- Choose an A Superyacht Life mission. Rockstar describes, among other things, salvaging sunken cargo, capsizing enemy vessels and fighting off amphibious assaults.
Expected result: the mission starts and the objective is displayed.
When to stop: if neither the bridge nor a call to the captain offers a mission, switch sessions and try again once. If nothing changes, contact Rockstar Support with your platform, your yacht model and what is displayed.
Special cases

| Upgrading to the Aquarius | In late November 2025, Rockstar offered Orion or Pisces owners an upgrade to the Aquarius for GTA$1. It was a time-limited offer: do not treat it as permanent. |

- ☐ You own a Galaxy Super Yacht (Pisces, Orion or Aquarius) bought on DockTease.
- ☐ You are on the yacht's bridge or you have called Captain Darcy.
- ☐ An A Superyacht Life mission is offered and starts.
