In EA SPORTS FC 27 Ultimate Team (often searched for as "FIFA 27"), you play match after match but an objective's progress bar stays stuck, or the reward does not show up. Most of the time, one of the objective's conditions is not met: wrong match type, difficulty too low, expired objective, or progress that only counts from a certain point. This guide follows EA's official help article on Ultimate Team objectives.
Problem
- A daily, weekly, season or Live Event objective does not progress after your matches.
- An Evolution objective does not count your matches.
- A Gallery objective ignores sets you had already completed.
- The objective is complete, but you cannot see the reward.
What to know first
According to EA's official help:
- Objectives are tracked in the Campaign Hub, which flags new objectives and the ones you have completed.
- There are Daily, Weekly, Season and Dynamic (limited-time) objectives. Their expiry is shown in-game.
- In Live Events, some objectives progress in both PvE (against the AI) and PvP (against players), others require a specific match type, and some PvE objectives have a difficulty requirement.
- Quitting a PvE match in a Live Event = forfeit and a 3–0 loss.
- General Gallery objectives only count progress made after they become available.
Step 1: check that the objective is still active
When to use it: always first.
Suggested solution
- Open the Campaign Hub in Ultimate Team.
- Find the objective and read its expiry information.
- Check that it is not already marked as completed.
Expected result: you know whether the objective is active, expired or already completed.
Step 2: re-read the exact requirements
When to use it: the objective is active, but your matches do not move it forward.
Suggested solution
- Open the objective's details and read every requirement: match type (PvE, PvP or a specific mode), required action, any condition on the players in your team.
- If the objective belongs to a PvE Live Event, check the minimum difficulty required and pick at least that level before kick-off.
- Play the match to the end: quitting a PvE Live Event match makes you forfeit (3–0 loss).
Expected result: after a match that meets every requirement, the objective's progress bar moves.
Step 3: Evolution objectives
When to use it: an Evolution level requires matches or actions with the player, and nothing moves.
Suggested solution
- Open the Evolution and re-read its requirements: EA states that some levels require completing gameplay objectives with your Evolution Player Item.
- Put that player in your team and perform the required action with him (not with another player).
- Check that the match type you play counts for that Evolution.
Expected result: the Evolution level's progress moves after the match.

Step 4: Gallery objectives
When to use it: a Gallery objective ignores sets or subsets you had already completed.
Suggested solution
- Check whether the objective is general (for example a number of subsets to complete) or targets a specific subset.
- General objective: only progress made after it became available counts. Subsets completed earlier are not counted.
- Specific subset: if you had already completed it, EA says that previous completion can count toward the objective.
Expected result: you know which subsets you still need for that objective.

Step 5: find the reward
When to use it: the objective is complete, but the reward seems to be missing.
Suggested solution
- PvE Live Event objectives: the reward can be claimed as soon as the objective is complete. If you did not claim it, it is claimed automatically when the objective group and event expire.
- Season Points (SP): the SP you earned is shown after the match. If you reach a new Season Pass tier, the reward is claimed from the post-match flow. See Season Pass reward missing in EA SPORTS FC 27: find it.

Expected result: the reward is found, or you know when it will be granted automatically.
Step 6: if the objective is still stuck
When to use it: every requirement is met, the objective is active, and it still does not progress.
Suggested solution
- Fully close the game, install the latest update, then relaunch it.
- Check EA server status: an outage can prevent progress from being saved.
- If the problem persists on an up-to-date game, contact EA Help with the objective's exact name, its category and the match type you played.
Expected result: progress is saved again, or your case is passed on to EA.
Special cases
- End of season: at the end of a season, your Reward Level and SP total reset. Claim your rewards before then.

- Foundation, Milestone and Mastery objectives: Foundation objectives introduce the basics of Ultimate Team, while Milestone and Mastery objectives are long-term goals across the whole game cycle. Do not expect to finish them in a few matches.
Final check
- ☐ The objective is active and not expired in the Campaign Hub.
- ☐ The match type and difficulty match the requirements.
- ☐ PvE Live Event matches were played to the end.
- ☐ For an Evolution, the action was done with the Evolution player.
- ☐ For a general Gallery objective, progress was made after it became available.
