GTA Online's Terrorbyte Client Jobs, handed out by hacker Paige Harris, cannot be launched from the map or the phone like many other activities. This guide summarises what Rockstar Games' official announcements say, so you can find where they start and avoid confusing them with other command vehicles.
What to know before acting
- You must own the vehicle: Rockstar addresses owners of the Benefactor Terrorbyte, sold on the Warstock Cache & Carry website.
- Launching is done from inside: Client Jobs are launched from the Nerve Center touchscreen inside the Terrorbyte.
- Terrorbyte and MOC are two different things: Mobile Operations Missions are played with the Mobile Operations Center, which Rockstar associates with Bunker owners. It is not the Terrorbyte.
- Purchase conditions: the Rockstar announcements read do not detail any prior property Warstock may require. If the purchase is refused, write down the message shown.
- In-game names: the official sources read are in English. Labels in localised versions of the game may differ.
Step 1: check that you actually own a Terrorbyte
When to use it: you are not sure you bought the vehicle, or you confused it with the MOC.
Expected result: the Terrorbyte is listed among your vehicles.
Rollback: this is a GTA$ purchase. The announcements read do not describe any refund.
Step 2: launch a Client Job from the Nerve Center
When to use it: you own the Terrorbyte.
Expected result: the Client Job starts.
When to stop: if the screen opens without offering any job, write down exactly what it shows and reply to this topic with that information.
Step 3: unlock Bureau Tech upgrades (optional)
When to use it: you are looking for the Terrorbyte's newer features (business management, finding collectibles, staying undetectable), which are not needed for Client Jobs.
Expected result: Bureau Tech upgrades become available for your Terrorbyte.
