The Acid Lab in GTA Online arrived with the Los Santos Drug Wars update (December 2022). Unlike other businesses, it is not bought as a building: it is installed in the back of a truck, the MTL Brickade 6x6. This guide helps you find what is missing when the lab appears nowhere, when production stays at zero, or when you do not know how to sell the product.
Problem
- No Acid Lab among your properties, and no "Acid Lab" entry on Maze Bank Foreclosures.
- You finished some Fooliganz missions, but the Brickade 6x6 still does nothing.
- The lab exists, but production does not progress.
- You have stock, but do not know where to sell it.
What to know before acting
- No building to buy: according to Rockstar, the lab is located in the back of the MTL Brickade 6x6, which serves as a mobile headquarters.
- Two ways to get the truck: earn it for free through the First Dose story (six missions), or buy it from Warstock Cache & Carry.
- The Fooliganz base: The Freakshop, under the Los Santos highway, is where you install the lab and modify the Brickade 6x6, and it gives access to a Weapon Workshop.
- In-game names: the official sources consulted are in English (Acid Lab, First Dose, Freakshop, Resupply, Sell Missions, Street Dealers). Labels may differ in other language versions of the game.
Step 1: identify your situation

Step 2: get the MTL Brickade 6x6
When to use it: you have neither a Brickade 6x6 nor access to the Freakshop.
Suggested solution
Option A: through the First Dose story (free)
- Wait for and accept the call from Ron Jakowski. Rockstar says he invites you to join the Fooliganz.
- Go to the meeting point shown: Rockstar places it above Liquor Ace in Sandy Shores.
- Complete the six First Dose missions with Dax and the Fooliganz.
- At the end of these missions, you steal the MTL Brickade 6x6, which comes with a Maibatsu Manchez Scout C motorcycle that can be requested in Freemode for deliveries.
Option B: by purchase
- Open the Warstock Cache & Carry website on the in-game phone or computer.
- Buy the MTL Brickade 6x6. In its March 2023 announcements, Rockstar states that this purchased service vehicle comes with Acid Lab installation.
Expected result: the Brickade 6x6 is among your vehicles.
If Ron's call never comes: Rockstar changed invitations in December 2021: the game sends fewer calls, and you can open the Pause menu map, highlight a contact's blip and trigger their introduction from that screen. Look for Ron's or the Fooliganz's blip on the map.
Step 3: install the Acid Lab at the Freakshop
When to use it: you got the Brickade 6x6 through First Dose, but the lab is not active.
Suggested solution
- Go to the Freakshop, the Fooliganz base under the Los Santos highway.
- Install the Acid Lab upgrade on the Brickade 6x6. Rockstar specifies that you need to have acquired the necessary lab equipment during First Dose.
- Talk to Mutt: according to Rockstar, he helps you get the business up and running.
Expected result: the Brickade 6x6 becomes your headquarters and the lab can produce.
When to stop: if the upgrade is not offered even though all six missions are complete, check that the game is up to date, then contact Rockstar Support and state your platform.
Step 4: restart production
When to use it: the lab is installed, but no product is being made.
Suggested solution
- Check the lab's Supplies level.
- Choose your supply method:
- pay Mutt to order supplies;
- or run a Resupply / Steal mission: Rockstar mentions reclaiming runoff from Humane Labs and stealing grain and volatile chemicals.
- Rockstar also says that putting in a short shift at the lab yourself boosts production speed.
Expected result: the stock gauge gradually rises.
Step 5: sell the product
When to use it: your stock is ready.
Suggested solution
- Launch an Acid Lab Sell Mission. Rockstar describes deliveries to customers and discreet drop-offs, with police to evade.
- Use the Manchez Scout C when the mission allows it: Rockstar presents it as the motorcycle used to deliver the product.
- Another option: Street Dealers. Rockstar says they are marked on the map with a purple speech bubble and buy product directly from MC businesses, the Nightclub and the Acid Lab. Talking to them tells you which substances are in high demand.
Expected result: the GTA$ from the sale is credited at the end of the mission or transaction.
Note: Rockstar specifies that the business must be set up and running to sell to Street Dealers. Without an active lab, they will not buy acid from you.
Special cases
- Fooligan Jobs: once you have joined the troupe, Rockstar says you can call Dax to request Fooligan Jobs. They do not replace resupply missions.
- The Last Dose: five additional missions (March 2023) conclude the Los Santos Drug Wars story. The announcements consulted do not present them as a requirement for owning the lab.
- Event bonuses: the doubled Acid Lab payouts mentioned in Rockstar's announcements all have end dates. Check the current week's announcement before counting on a bonus.
- Platform: the update dates from December 2022. The announcements consulted do not describe any difference between the PC Legacy and PC Enhanced versions for this business.
Final check
- ☐ You own the MTL Brickade 6x6 (First Dose completed or bought from Warstock).
- ☐ The Acid Lab is installed (at the Freakshop, or included with the purchased truck).
- ☐ The lab has supplies and the stock is rising.
